Travel only stays worth doing if the places we visit are still standing to welcome the next traveller. We favour partners who actively manage their environmental footprint, steer guests toward operators who protect the landscapes and wildlife they profit from, and treat "leave no trace" as a minimum, not an aspiration.

Where a destination has a marine park, protected reserve, or conservation levy — Kenya's national parks, the Seychelles' marine reserves, Zanzibar's Jozani Forest — we point travellers toward operators who genuinely support those protections, not just the cheapest available tour.

Supply chain

We work directly with the hotels, transport providers, and local operators behind every package we sell, which means we can actually ask questions about how they operate — rather than reselling an anonymous listing sourced through a third-party wholesaler.

We're building a standing sustainability review into how we vet new accommodation partners, covering water and energy use, waste management, and fair treatment of staff. It's an ongoing process, and we expect our standards here to keep tightening as the industry's best practices evolve.

People & Partners

Responsible tourism isn't only an environmental question — it's about the people whose livelihoods depend on travel done well. We look for partnerships with organisations doing real work on community impact, fair labour practices, and inclusive access to travel, because a better industry needs more than good intentions.

We're proud members of ASATA and IGLTA, and we work with local guides and community-based tourism initiatives wherever a destination offers them, rather than defaulting to the largest operator by volume.
